#HJW Team & Project-Based Learning
We took time to do a mid-year self evaluation about the progress made with their projects. The concensus was that we had lost our focus. Mean while a challenge had come knocking on our door, or rather to our inbox. A professor out of Florida once again was reaching out to Birmingham Covington School for help. This time it was for a school. Our students were immediately drawn to the challenge becuase it was for their peers. After some inital research and a skype session with the professor we had established teams based on interests in the overall project. Gathering information was our first task and organizing our research was next. Very quickly students were vested in helping to bring Mwachilele the Bole Hole they have been wishing for.
